Avanti West Coast operates passenger rail services in United Kingdom. EU rail passenger rights (or UK Delay Repay where applicable) may entitle you to compensation for long delays and cancellations.
You may claim if you arrive at your final destination 60 minutes or more late due to a Avanti West Coast delay or cancellation, and EU Regulation 1371/2007 applies. Some domestic or tourist services may be exempt — we assess each claim individually.
Under EU rules: 25% of the ticket price for a 60–119 minute arrival delay, and 50% for delays of 120 minutes or more. Cancellations may also entitle you to rerouting or a refund.
